Who we are

Kindant is operated by ThynkNu Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales. Our platform helps consumers navigate health insurance through AI-assisted conversation.

What data we collect

When you use Kindant, we collect:

  • Account information: email address, name, and authentication credentials
  • Conversation data: messages exchanged with Vera, including health-related questions
  • Uploaded documents: policy PDFs, images of receipts or medical documents
  • Usage data: page views, device type, country (via Vercel headers), session identifiers
  • Agent metrics: response latency, tool usage, and model performance data

How we use your data

  • To provide the Kindant service: answering insurance questions, analysing policies, running underwriting assessments
  • To improve the service: understanding usage patterns, identifying gaps in our knowledge base
  • To send transactional emails: sign-in links, password resets, account confirmations

We do not sell your data. We do not use your data for advertising.

AI processing

Your conversations are processed by AI models (Claude by Anthropic) to generate responses. Your messages are sent to the AI provider's API for processing and are subject to their data handling policies. We do not use your conversations to train AI models.

Data storage

Your data is stored in Supabase (hosted in the EU, London region). Uploaded documents are stored in encrypted cloud storage. We retain your data for as long as your account is active.
